Griha pravesh invitation messages and card
A griha pravesh invitation has to answer two practical questions clearly: when is the puja and when should guests come for the meal. Most families hold the puja in the morning muhurat for close family and invite everyone else for lunch afterwards.

Griha pravesh, vastu shanti or housewarming?
Griha pravesh is the ritual entry into a new home, usually with a havan or Satyanarayan puja. In Maharashtra the ceremony is commonly called vastu shanti (वास्तुशांती), and in English-speaking circles simply a housewarming. Use the word your guests use — the design is the same.

Common questions
When should I send a griha pravesh invitation?
Ten days to two weeks before. It is usually a shorter event than a wedding, so guests need less notice, but send it early if the muhurat falls on a festival or long weekend.
Should the puja time or the lunch time go on the card?
Both, on separate lines. Close family comes for the puja; most guests come for the meal. Writing both avoids everyone arriving at the muhurat.
Can I add a map link to the video?
Videos cannot hold clickable links, so send the Google Maps link as a separate WhatsApp message straight after the video. The guest link from the editor can be sent the same way.
